safeMedicate

safeMedicate is a numeracy and drug calculation package used by the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health. The product name used to be Authentic World but is now safeMedicate. Many students and staff of the University of Stirling have been using it for a few years now and will know it as Authentic World, hence the use of both names in the guide linked to below. New students (2011 onwards) will be introduced to the system as safeMedicate, but if you hear others talking about Authentic World, they mean the same thing. This page contains some useful information for students on registering with and then using safeMedicate.

safeMedicate Registration Guide

This is a guide, available here in PDF format, on how to register with the safeMedicate system. It only covers registering with the system, changing your password and retrieving your password. It does not cover any aspect of using safeMedicate itself once you are logged in. Guides for this exist in the Help area inside safeMedicate.

The following video clip, available via the Listen Again lecture capture service, also explains how to register with safeMedicate and also what students need to do if they forget their passwords.
